children at jubilee garden party Over 1000 people attended the Golden Jubilee garden party at Burns Cottage on Monday 3 June. A host of entertainers volunteered their time to ensure the party went with a swing. Highlights included Jacobite combat re-enactment, whisky-tasting and a host of the best musical entertainers that Burns Country can offer. Generous donations from Burns National Heritage Park's suppliers meant that all refreshments could be provided for free. The generousity of the Park's friends and associates gave the Park the chance to say a right royal thank you to the people of Ayrshire who have supported Burns Cottage over the years as well as the opportunity to introduce a new generation to Scotland's most famous son.
