Burns Cottage

Modern technology brings an old tale to life

Warlocks and witches in a dance;
Nae cotillion, brent new frae France,
But hornpipes, jigs, strathspeys and reels,
Put life and mettle in their heels.

Tam OShanter Experience

Laser-disc technology and theatrical effects bring Burns' best-loved tale to life in a special Audio-Visual presentation.

Set in a modern visitor centre, with gift shop, licensed air-conditioned restaurant, serving good home-made Scots fayre and with an acre of beautiful landscaped gardens, the Tam O'Shanter Experience is a perfect base from which to explore the rich Burns heritage of Alloway. A full programme of special events and family activities runs throughout the year.
